Description

A 40-yard speed test device is used to evaluate the speed and acceleration of the subject in a 36-meter (40-yard) pathway in 5 phases (the goal of the athlete’s monitoring is to reach the maximum speed). The device has two functional states. Beginning with the beep, which is the reaction time, is calculated as the final result, ie time along the specified path, and the crossing state of the line, which begins the time of calculation of the time since the start of the line. Speed ​​is the ability of an individual to drive all or part of the body in the shortest possible time, and acceleration is the speed variation per unit time.

40 yards is one of the speed test that is usually held inside the hall. This test is usually performed by athletes who require start-ups and reach the maximum speed of up to eight initial steps, such as football, basketball, handball, etc.
