This book stems from the presentations by a group of distinguished scientists gathered in the hills of a beautiful San Marino resort between 4 and 6 May 2006 for the Third International Symposium on Down syndrome organized by the Republic of San Marino and the Down Syndrome Associations of Rimini in Italy and of San Marino.
